My lighting opinion

referring back to Nadine’s most recent post of lighting… I took a look at all of the examples and decided that the most effective and in my opinion will do our work more justice if we use the spotlights only, especially because Nadine noted that these can be adjusted therefore we can focus it on pieces of the wall or work that draw attention to the piece and not just the bland walls or any other distractions in the room. For I think the most effective exhibitions are the ones that are dimly lit and have little use of lighting, the only being shown onto the pieces of work.

For example when we went to London Galleries such as the Tate Britain and the Saatchi gallery had specific exhibitions that had this effect and these were specifically my favourite, here are some photographs I took to show an example of the effect I liked…
