Referencing back to Nikki’s post about BMAG.

I’ve been to Birmingham’s museum and art gallery several times and I adore how you can walk in and it feels welcoming with all the warm tones, despite the intimidating contemporary layout. I find the first room that holds the contemporary paintings a beautiful way to exhibit them, with the ability to turn in a 360 degree circle and easily see all the art work being exhibited from different heights it is truly breathtaking with the sheer size of the room and domed ceiling.

However throughout the museum and art gallery the way in which the work is presented changes… one moment it can be quite traditional and contemporary then in another room a ‘white walled space’.
