Barbican Art Gallery- A possible visit whilst in London?

Another Art Gallery based in London that we could possibly visit?
This current exhibition is very physical and you may get a tad wet, but thought it could be a new experience for I have never experience a exhibition in such a physical sense. It is titled: Random International: Rain Room an is on from the 4th October 2012 – 3rd March 2013. It is advisable that flat shoes are worn and that for some reason you are more likely to get wet wearing darker clothing. Also queing is upto two hours or three hours at peak times, which I think is a very long time and could waste the rest of the experience in London and also a maximum of five people in the room at a time!

Created by Random international, who are renowed for their approach to digital-based contemporary art and how their artworks are experimentive and come alive to the audience through interaction and staged performance. In this exhibition The audience is invited to experience what it s like to control the rain… You can choose to just watch, or find your way through the rain. The piece relies on a sculptural rigour, with the entire Curve transformed by the monumental proportions of this carefully choreographed downpour and the sound of water.

The queue will close approximately two hours before closing time.

They advise visitors to arrive as early in the day as possible, a minimum of two hours before closing time. Anyone arriving later may not be allowed to join the queue as we are unable to admit visitors after the gallery closes.
